Project Overview
Problem
Tour group members unable to meet the tour guide at a specified location and facing communication difficulty while on tour.
Goal
To design an application to help tour groups to easily connect with the tour guide and also help the tour guide to send notification of his location and share necessary details through chats.

User Research: Summary
Understood the problems faced by tour groups on their trip by interviewing a few travelers. Some family groups traveled to a tourist destination through a tour package site. They were assigned a tour guide for a better experience. Although a group member mentioned about the difficulty faced in finding the tour guide on certain self exploratory locations. They faced problems in communicating, locating other members and the tour guide along with time management.
Solution
Design an interface which will help the Tour Guide to manage all the members in his team. Assign them the time, venue and other relevant information along with live location to enable easy tracking during tour. The idea is to provide relevant options for enhancing seamless user experience and saving the time spent in identifying the actual location of tour guide/tourists.

For quick identification, the location is displayed on the main screen of the app.

The tour guide can easily inform a meet up point from the current/adjusting the meet up location through a notification message.
Tour schedule
The app will also remind the users of their daily tour plan along with time, location and any additional instructions from the tour guide such as document requirements/ cash only transactions/ place order in advance.
Impact
The application interface and functions have been thoughtfully designed for enabling a smooth communication between the tour guide and the group members on tour. It provides flexibility to adapt to the needs and wants of the user based on the issues faced during the tour.
