Solution
-
With the high level of standards offered by most online businesses today, users expectations rises while using the Government website. By introducing Parallax Effect to the website will give users the same feel while interacting with IRCTC website.
-
Displaying Book Ticket, PNR Status and Journey Details tabs on the same page rather than opening in new tabs.
-
Grouping relevant information through appropriate icons and dropdown lists to allow users easy accessibility.
-
Minimalizing the design and unnecessary content will increase the conversion rate as the users focus will shift to ticket booking(desired actions).
-
Chatbot can be made simpler and only display when clicked on.
-
Designing overall User Interface to emphasize Indian Railway by involving Indian Flag color theme.
-
Redesigning the look and feel of the website as per Government of India guidelines(https://guidelines.india.gov.in/)
